Catalina Coffee & Cookie Co at 205 Crescent Avenue, Avalon, California.

We hit this place several times for coffee (lattes), cookies, and croissants during our stay. Spencer, our guide on a zip tour, recommended we swing by early for the nutella croissant donut. Oh man. It was great. Awesome. Gone in 2 seconds. Important to note they make a limited number daily, so get there early to snag yours. Also important for those of you watching sugar intake, they have a good selection of sugar free syrups for the lattes. Everything was great!

Awesome coffee blends for decent prices on the island. Food options are your standard coffee shop pastries and breakfast sandwich/ wraps. The hot food is great, but small in size, and isn't instant since they're making everything by hand. If you keep your cup and reuse it with their self-serve coffee it's only a dollar refill, which is great when you're on a diving trip and have plenty of down time. The staff are friendly and laid- back like most of the island residents.
